Grow back slower. Grow back softer.

A water-based gel in a roller, for the regrowth you'd rather have less of.

Who it's for

Most people shave a couple of times a week. Some people don't have that option. If you remove facial or body hair every day or every second day — because of PCOS-related hirsutism, or because your hair simply grows faster and coarser than the products on the shelf assume — you are putting your skin through far more than the average customer.

Nobody in this category formulates for that. This is the one that does.

What's in it, and what it does

One active, doing one job properly.

A cocoa ferment and decapeptide complex. Flavones isolated from cocoa by fermentation, paired with a bioengineered decapeptide shaped to mimic Fibroblast Growth Factor-5 — one of the body's own signals for ending the hair growth phase.

It works on the hair cycle itself, encouraging the follicle to leave its growing phase sooner than it otherwise would. Shorten that phase and regrowth comes back finer and shorter.

Designed to reduce regrowth over time, and to make what does come back gentler. Softer regrowth also means fewer hairs stiff enough to curl back into skin, which is where ingrown hairs start.

Why it's a gel and not an oil

Because the active is water-soluble. That's the entire reason. Our Ingrown Hair Oil is anhydrous because its hero ingredient is an oil-phase lipid; this one is a water gel because this active is delivered in water.

The format follows the chemistry. It isn't a marketing decision.

It also means this one has to be preserved. Anything containing water can grow microbes; the oil, having no water in it at all, cannot. Phenoxyethanol with ethylhexylglycerin is a well-established, well-tolerated modern preservative system, and a water gel sold without one would be the riskier product, not the purer one.

Full ingredients

Aqua, Glycerin, Betaine, Lactobacillus/Cocoa Fruit Ferment Filtrate, Decapeptide-1, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Ethoxydiglycol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Hyaluronate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice.

Eleven ingredients. No fragrance. No essential oils. No alcohol.

The growth-cycle work is done by the Lactobacillus/Cocoa Fruit Ferment Filtrate and the Decapeptide-1. Everything else is a well-built water gel base: glycerin and betaine as humectants, sodium hyaluronate for hydration, aloe leaf juice, xanthan gum as the gelling agent, ethoxydiglycol as a solvent aiding delivery, and phenoxyethanol with ethylhexylglycerin as the preservative system.

What it will not do — read this part

It will not remove hair, and it is not a hair removal method. You will still shave, wax or thread.

It is not a treatment for hirsutism, PCOS, or any hormonal condition, and it is not a substitute for one. If your hair growth has changed noticeably, that's a conversation with your GP or an endocrinologist — and it's worth having, because there are real options. We are not one of them.

We'd rather tell you that than sell you a bottle on a promise we can't keep.

How long

Give it a full growth cycle — four to six weeks — before you judge it, and keep using it. It works on hair that hasn't grown yet, so it's slower than the Ingrown Hair Oil. Stop using it and regrowth returns to normal.

Where

Face, jawline, neck, chest, legs, underarms, bikini line.

How to use

Roll on after every shave, thread or wax, then daily in between. The days you don't remove hair matter as much as the days you do.

When not to use it

Not on broken skin. Not on freshly lasered skin without checking with your technician. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, take the ingredient list to your midwife or GP before starting.
